PB4L

Konini Primary School participates in the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) programme.  PB4L looks at behaviour and learning from a whole-of-school as well as an individual child perspective. It is a long term initiative.  We are currently in the sixth year.

The framework is based on international evidence and is helping New Zealand schools build a culture where positive behaviour and learning is a way of life. The framework is being tailored to our school’s own environment and cultural needs.

It’s not about changing the students; it’s about changing the environment, systems and practices we have in place to support students to make positive behaviour choices.

Our values, being respectful, responsible, active learners, sit at the heart of our PB4L framework. Here is some further explanation about our vlaues and behaviour expectations.
