Learning at Konini Primary School

At Konini Primary School our vision of cultivating confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners starts with providing an environment in which all learners thrive.

The four goals to achieve this are:

  • all learners will access and be engaged with the curriculum; make progress and achieve excellence, through a diverse and flexible learning and teaching environment.
  • all learners will experience progress and success in positive and inclusive learning environments where they are valued; included; their culture and language accepted and respected; their identity acknowledged and their particular needs met.
  • professional learning, evidence based research, pedagogical developments and resourcing in digital technologies will support adaptive teaching and learning based on a future-focussed and responsive curriculum.
  • strengthen community connections and work in partnership with parents, families/whānau, Kāhui Ako, and community to support student learning in connected communities.
